Protopresbyter-Staurophoros Joan Garcia Gives a Lecture at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Belgrade

On Wednesday, May 7th, 2014, protopresbyter-stavrophoros Joan Garcia, from Barcelona, gave a lecture on Orthodoxy in Spain to the students and professors of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Belgrade.
Fr. Garcia initially expounded on the history of Christianity on the Iberian Peninsula and then developed his lecture by describing the state of affairs among the Orthodox in Spain and Portugal with a special accent on parishes under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Western Europe of the Serbian Orthodox Church. His inspired lecture was followed by a string of questions from the audience regarding all aspects of ecclesial life in Spain.
