The French Ambassador's Lecture

On Thursday, October 24, 2013, Faculty of Orthodox Theology had as its guest His Excellency Francois-Xavier Deniau, ambassador of France in Belgrade. Professor Predrag Puzović, Th.D., the Faculty dean, showed the ambassador around the premises, and, particularly so, the Faculty library which hosts numerous books donated to from France.
It was in the grand amphitheatre of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology, that His Excellency Francois-Xavier Deniau delivered his lecture entitled “European Union and the Respect of Identity”.
The lecture was attended by His Grace Kyr Irinej, the Right Reverend Bishop of Bačka, His Grace Kyr Andrej, the Right Reverend Bishop of Remezijana, Mrs. Nada Kovačević, Ph.D., vice-rector for education at the University of Belgrade, Mr. Sima Avramović, Ph.D., dean of the Faculty of Law in Belgrade, Mr. Vojin Nedeljković, Ph.D., vice-dean of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, Mr. Aleksandar Jovanović, Ph.D., professor at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Belgrade, together with numerous professors and students of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology.
The French ambassador’s inspiring lecture instigated a set of some very interesting questions from the audience.
